Monmouth Duo
Another interfraternity tradition for the chapter is Monmouth Duo, which celebrates the founding of Pi Beta Phi and Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternities at Monmouth College. Each Pi Beta Phi chapter celebrates the event differently, and Missouri Alpha Chapter traditionally hosts a social event. Until the late 20th century, Monmouth Duo included a formal dance where Pi Phis and Kappas would wear their best dresses and bring dates. Over the years, the event grew into a weekend-long event with costume parties and hayrides. Monmouth Duo gives the two fraternities an opportunity to celebrate their common history and spend time getting to know each other.
